I graduated in 1976 but so remember a lot of people from 1974 due to my sister Debby Muirhead. Give me a hollar if you want to take a trip down memory lane. I am on my space.com as shorty4941. I graduated from Denby in 1956 (attended '52 to '56) and as I enjoyed this site, couldn't help but wish that the class of 1956 had a similar one. Our class is having its 50th reunion this year. By the way, my class's graduation year of 1956 was the 25th (silver) anniversary of Denby High School, and this year, 2006, is the 75th (golden) anniversary. Gregory A. Our class is looking forward to our 60 reunion next year. some of us are still here, alive and kicking. Vi Class of 47' Rosemarie Denise Clark - 03-25-2006 Wow, I can't believe I found this site. Don't laugh , but I have no clue what year I went to this school, only that I did somewhere around 72-74. Most of my memories are gone now and I am trying my best to find anyone that would remember me. I remember a school trip to some metro park with lots of rocks, I think I played a violin or a trumpet. Violin I believe. There was a guy in my same year who for some reason I think of the 'Fonz' whenever I try to recall him. The only name I have for him is Scott. weird. It would be so cool if someone remembers me at all. I lived on Elmdale, and went to Hamilton Middle School before Denby. I can remember being on a soccor team that practiced in Chandler Park, and some Brownie or Girl Schout troup that met in some church near Hamiton. Other than that the mind is a clear slate. This is a great website - wish Class of '75 had something like this. I still keep in touch with George Eichorn (a great bud !). I have been married to my wonderful wife Anita (Regina '75) for 25 years. I have a daughter Lisa who attends Wayne State majoring in Nursing and my son David is a junior at DeLaSalle. Currently reside in Sterling Heights. Jim Barbret - 03-30-2005 Found this site while surfing one night. I didn't graduate from Denby, we moved up north in the summer of 1970. However, I was a Carleton and Arthur Jr. High guy. Played football/basketball at Cannon Rec with Brian Lowery, Art K etc. Rode to AJH with Greg Clark, Ed Frazho, Rick Schatz and others. Lived on Wayburn by the corner of Britain, right by Fred Sassin. I looked at the yearbook and saw a lot of old friends and familar names. Thanks for putting the site together! (WOW 30 years…) I was surfing through the internet and Google brought me here from a query on 'Denby High School' and what memories! Many of the names do not ring a bell... Denby, in those days, was like a family and at game time we were one! (Some might remember me as 'Paco' name given to me by Paul Bradley), The two of us graduated in 1973... I was suppose to graduate in 1974 but, I quit school & joined the Armyin March of '74. I had to get a GED since, I didn't have my diploma yet. My wife, Marrian(Virga), graduated from Denby in 1975. We attended her 25th reunion in 1995 & we both met alot of old friends that we both hung out with. Question: Is there anyway that I can get my name on the CLASS OF '74 Contact list?
